Fitness Assessment
120 minutes
Your current fitness level is extensively assessed. Evaluation includes: resting heart rate; resting blood pressure; body composition; flexibility; upper and lower body muscular strength; and sub maximal treadmill test, using a computerized metabolic cart to determine aerobic capacity and ventilatory threshold. The test results are then compared to age-based norms. Using this interpretation, a training heart rate will be determined and an individualized exercise program will be designed.

Exercise Prescription
50 minutes
Cardiovascular, strength and flexibility training is a primary focus in this session, which is designed to incorporate fun and variety into a manageable routine. After evaluating your current lifestyle, exercise habits and fitness goals, an individualized exercise prescription will be structured to meet your needs and accomplish your goals.
Resting Metabolic Rate
60 minutes
This service includes a computerized measurement of your individual resting caloric expenditure, to determine your metabolic profile. Requires an eight-hour fast.
Body Composition
20 minutes
Skin fold measurement techniques determine your lean mass-to-fat ratio. The results are then compared to gender- and age-based norms to aid in health assessment.
Fitness Consultation
We strongly recommend a fitness consultation prior to the commencement of all exercise and activity programmes. We will establish your exercise history and determine your personal goals that you would like to achieve during your stay and in the future. From this information we can design your individualized programme for maximum results.
