Most of the elderly are normal and a few are disabled, hence the centre is for both preventive as well as curative - preventive rehabilitation for the normal elderly and curative rehabilitation for the disabled elderly.

- Geriatric Medicine prescription: Comprehensive clinical evaluation is done. Physicians specialized in Geriatrics will take care in prescribing multi drug formulations for multifarious chronic diseases and disorders.
- Physical Medicine prescription:
- Precautionary: Prescribing certain supports at the walls in toilets, special hand sticks, walkers, etc., to prevent fall.
- Preventive: Sub maximal aerobic exercises
- Rehabilitative (Curative): for the disabled such as massage, stretch, strengthening exercises and electrotherapy.
CARDIAC CONDITIONING:
Cardiac conditioning exercises are prescribed with caution. Short exercise therapies are followed by intervals of rest.
GAIT TRAINING:
Walking with good balance are taught to the elderly disabled and as well as normal elderly persons by the devices such as finger board, stall bar, balance boards, Parallel bars, Ramp and 2”, 4”, 6” steps, etc.
